I am a woman, a daughter, a sister, a wife, and a mother. Like many people, I often wondered what path I could take to start a business of my own, something meaningful, something that could bring a little beauty and comfort into people’s lives.

My inspiration came from something I have always loved: the feeling of a clean, beautiful space filled with an inviting fragrance. To me, cleanliness is connected to health, peace, and well-being. There is something special about walking into a fresh, beautifully scented room and immediately feeling a sense of calm and tranquility. At this stage of my life, that feeling means more to me than ever.

I wanted to share that feeling with others. That simple idea became the beginning of my journey into handmade candles.

I am still at the beginning of this adventure, and it has not always been easy. There have been challenges, mistakes, lessons, and moments when I have had to step outside my comfort zone. But along the way, my mindset has changed. I have discovered new strengths, learned to believe in myself, and found happiness in creating something with my own hands. Most of all, I am grateful that I chose to take this path.

Then came the question: What should I call my business?

I wanted a name that felt real, a name with meaning, a name that represented the light I hoped my candles would bring into people’s homes.

One evening, I was standing in my backyard, looking up at the night sky. Among all the stars, one light caught my attention. It was Sirius A, the brightest star in the night sky.

In that moment, I had my answer.

Sirius Wax was born.

Just as Sirius shines brightly in the night sky, I hope my candles bring their own little light, warmth, and beautiful fragrance into the homes of my customers.

What started as a question about how to begin became a journey of inspiration, courage, and purpose.

And this is only the beginning of the story of Sirius Wax.
